Supplying utility contractors statewide, Farmingdale, N.J.-based Garden State Precast, Inc., produces manholes, lift stations, catch basins, utility vaults, electrical junction boxes, box culverts, headwalls, water control structures, and water filtration systems for New Jersey DOT, municipal, commercial and private projects.
Garden State President Kirby O'Malley is a graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology, where he earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. His professional career began in 1970 as a project engineer with InterPace Corp. He also has worked for CSR Hydro Conduit and, most recently, served as vice president of operations for Duncan Thecker Precast, acquired by Garden State in 1999.
Dan Morris, vice president, sales and marketing, attended Newark College of Engineering while beginning his career in 1966 as a production control manager with InterPace. Subsequently, Morris worked for Cretex Companies, Hydro Conduit, and Kerr Concrete Pipe, serving most recently as sales manager for Duncan Thecker Precast.
Gene O'Malley, secretary/treasurer, attended Morris Harvey College before starting his career with InterPace Corp. in 1970 as a quality control technician. O'Malley also worked for Cretex Corp., prior to an 18-year stint with New Jersey Concrete Pipe Co., where he served as general manager.
