Wheel loader guarding

Manufacturer has tooled a guarding package to protect the HL960HD wheel loader from site hazards and ensure key system or component operational integrity. Hinged steel front and rear cabin guards prevent glass damage, while enabling quick access for window cleaning and maintenance. A radiator grille guard protects against hazards such as debris, falling objects and collisions with stationary or moving objects, but also provides quick cooling system and engine compartment access. Guards for exterior lights, the bucket cylinder, axle seals, attachment hoses, engine belly and front-chassis undercarriage complete the package.

Mixer-mounted tanks expedite site washout

Ontario-based truck component manufacturer Nu-Line Products recently introduced the Away Wash series devices for ready mixed concrete producers. The newest offering, the 11.9-gal. MKII, is a smaller version of a namesake, 14.5-gal. model. Both are of polyethylene construction and mount at the rear of mixer trucks; their removable sieves capture coarse materials, and their hoses drain by gravity into plant settling ponds. The MKII and Away Wash design allows truck chutes to be washed down anywhere, and equip ready mixed producers with a critical pollution control tool.
