The signature item for the seventh annual Concrete Industry Management program auction at World of Concrete is a Mack Granite-mounted 11-yd. McNeilus mixer. The donation from Mack Trucks Inc. and McNeilus Cos., notes CIM Auction Committee Chairman Eugene Martineau, “Speaks volumes of their commitment to the concrete industry and the importance they place on the CIM program. The 2012 CIM Auction now has the potential to be the best ever as the overall response of donated items from both producers and suppliers to the concrete industry has been outstanding.” Proceeds from the event, he adds, will benefit CIM degree programs at Middle Tennessee State; Arizona State; California State, Chico; New Jersey Institute of Technology; and, Texas State.
The auction will take place on day two of World of Concrete (January 25) Las Vegas at the Convention Center North Hall Room N262. A silent auction will run from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., followed immediately by live bidding. Online bidding will be available on the website of auctioneer Ritchie Brothers, www.rbauction.com, to participants registering in advance. Those participating in the auction at WOC can register on-site. A full list of auction items is posted at www.concretedegree.com/auction.
