Ahead of bauma 2016, April 11-17 in Munich, Finland’s Elematic Oyj has announced advanced technology supporting hollow core and Acotec wall panel production equipment sold through North American subsidiary, Elematic Inc., and sister operations across the globe.
A below-the-hook lifting solution, the SHS-Series SyncHoist enables operators to use a single crane to easily position loads vertically and horizontally, all while ensuring safety, speed and control. Designed with four BTH-1 compliant hydraulic lifting cylinders, the system is connected directly to suspended rigging. Cylinders are available in 60-, 94- or 120-ton capacity with strokes ranging from 19.69 to 59.06 in.
A recently introduced, full line of Standard Gantry Crane solutions allows customers to design, price and order a wide range of models by themselves. The cranes are available in single- or double-leg configurations; 3-, 5-, 7.5-, or 10-ton capacities; and, 20- to 56-ft. spans. All incorporate appropriately sized hoists and end trucks. Customers decide between configurations and capacities, while the Standard Gantry Chart does the rest.
Available in 1- to 80-ton capacities, the CXT line has been engineered with a short hook approach, low-headroom design, and can work close to walls whereby owners of crane-equipped operations can optimize building footprints. A hoisting inverter provides accuracy and controlled slow speed operation when lifting, while the empty load hook can be driven with up to 50 percent higher speeds compared to the loaded hook—allowing the operator to choose the most efficient hoist movement.
Critical mixer cleaning system has been made more affordable by running washout heads in sequence, rather than in parallel, to reduce the volume of water required from the pump. Combined with reduced cost of the high-pressure washout heads due to the drop in the Euro, the company notes, system reconfiguration brings equipment cost within range of precasters and central mixed plant equipment operators.
