Developer of moisture management solutions for masonry walls has added a 0.4-in.-thick size to its WallDefender line. Originally available in 1- and 2-in. thicknesses, the product helps curtail moisture damage to masonry cavity walls by preventing mortar droppings from blocking weep holes. It suspends droppings above flashing on two levels of its trapezoidal-shaped, open-weave mesh, while allowing water to flow through the mesh and exit the cavity.
Company bills Fuel Hubs as secure, environmentally friendly, transportable tanks that allow for fast, efficient refueling at production and work sites. Vessel is available in eight sizes with capacities ranging from 120 gal. to 2,650 gal. Along with features to suit the needs of each project, durable galvanized base frame and hatch plates equip the Fuel-Hub for rugged conditions. The tanks have 110 percent bunded capacity, ensuring compliance with environmental standards. They feature a removable inner tank and outer lid for maintenance, cleaning and quick bund area viewing.
Air-operated hoists suit single or twin loads for super sack or big bag transfer, and provide what company engineers describe as safe, speedy and accurate positioning—even where limited headroom conditions exist. Typical applications include construction materials packaging (cement, lime, aggregate). The hoist systems are also designed for safe operation within dust-prone environments. Their operating medium is compressed air (6 bar pressure).
Company has completed an overhaul of its signature system for controlling silo and liquid tank inventory. The touch-screen based SiloWeigh II Pro warns of low levels in vessels to prevent running out of material and halts in production; identifies potential overfills before spillage can occur; and, measures every fill amount as a check on delivery shortages and fraud. A trend graph for each vessel is zoomable to any date and time, with all data stored on a USB memory stick for transfer to a computer running Excel.
