GivenHansco unveils next-generation Batch Control

The newly redesigned Keystone Batch Control system is equipped with advanced, nonproprietary hardware to offer what GivenHansco officials note is the same Keystone quality producers depend on in a more compact package, but suited to concrete operations of any size.

The Keystone Control system works according to user guidelines: It can function as a stand-alone soft manual station or as part of GivenHansco’s integrated suite of Keystone software products. It is also Windows 7- and 8-compliant and compatible with the company’s existing platform.

The new junction box utilizes Opto 22's SNAP PAC system, a multi-function, Ethernet-based system with individually fused outputs. This equipment allowed the company to design a more compact 2- x 2-ft. junction box. The new design of the manual station allows for a compact, adjustable footprint on a desktop that will provide a direct 120v connection to the plant; meaning that there is no proprietary PC boards inside that would be susceptible to a devastating lightning strike.

For users who do not want a manual station, the system was designed to work with or without one. Each system is equipped with an embedded on-screen manual station. — GivenHansco, 800/548-9754; www.givenhansco.com
