A class action lawsuit Gilman and Pastor has filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida alleges that major Sunshine State cement and ready mixed concrete producers have engaged in a price-fixing conspiracy throughout this decade. Attorneys allege in a complaint that defendants eliminated competition in the markets for cement and concrete by charging artificially high prices for these products in Florida. Filed on behalf of individuals or entities who purchased cement or concrete from defendants, the lawsuit seeks treble damages and injunctive relief.
