The 1st Annual NECMA Education Day & Tradeshow will feature a Lowe's Corp. representative discussing the significant role of concrete masonry in the home-improvement retailing giant's energy-efficiency and LEED requirements for new store construction. Scheduled for October 14 at the Taunton, Mass., Holiday Inn, the event targets architects, landscape architects & designers, contractors, developers, builders, engineers, specifiers and building & municipal officials. It will offer a trade exhibit, with building and hardscape unit producers and related service providers, plus education sessions affording participants up to four AIA-certified continuing education units.
