Hardscape North America (HNA), October 21-23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, encompasses continuing education and networking sessions for product dealers and installers, new products showcase, signature awards program and nightly entertainment. Along with co-located Green Industry & Equipment Expo, it spans 750 exhibits in the center plus a 19-acre outdoor demonstration area. As HNA producer, the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute presents this year’s agenda as a “formula for a high return on investment.”

Dealer Program. “Ideas for Dealers Big and Small,” Wednesday, October 21, 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Geared for businesses selling hardscape and landscape products to consumers and contractors, this add-on program will cover topics such as human resources, operations, marketing and sales. Dealers are invited to an exclusive HNA trade exhibit preview and welcome reception following afternoon presentations. Author Steve McClatchy will kick-off the program with a keynote session, “Leading Change and Driving Improved Results.”

New Products Showcase. HNA organizers report an impressive list of new products exhibitors will launch in Louisville; a late-September Show Insider Sneak Peak edition will provide a brief overview of what to expect. Trade show hours are 3-7 p.m., October 21, for Dealer Program participants, and 9-5 p.m., October 22-23.

Expanded Education. HNA has added two sessions to its education lineup, with speakers including Charles Vander Kooi, Monroe Porter and Jerry Gaeta. Session topics range from outdoor kitchen installation to hardscape renovation and restoration, plus “Divas of the Dirt,” led by Lisa Lackovic. ICPI-certified Installers can earn continuing education credits for session participation.

Installer Championship. Top hardscape contractors from the U.S., Canada and Mexico will be tested and recognized for skills, dedication and passion in an event co-sponsored by Belgard Hardscapes and Pavestone. Competition activities run October 22-23 in the Outdoor Demo Area.

HNA Awards Reception. Winners of the 8th Annual HNA Awards will be announced the evening of October 22 at the Kentucky Exposition Center. The event has been moved from a morning schedule at a conference hotel to allow for a more casual reception immediately following the close of HNA exhibits. The program recognizes outstanding hardscape practice in commercial plazas, driveways, parking lots, patios, residential and commercial walkways, and streets.

Early-bird HNA 2015 registration runs through September 10, and can be obtained by visiting or from Sellers Expositions, 888/580-9960.
