Metromont Corp. has named Jason Woodard vice president/general manager of the company's new Florida precast/prestressed production facility. He will lead the plant's team, overseeing sales, operations, and project management. His prior experience includes various management positions within Metromont, i.e., vice president/general manager of the LaVergne (Tenn.) facility, director of project management, and regional manager.
In addition, Jeff Winters was hired as vice president/general manager of the LaVergne precast/prestressed operation, where he will assume responsibility for sales, plant operations and project management. Titles he held prior to joining Metromont include operations manager and vice president of operations/general manager.
Separately, Brian Koelsch was hired for sales at the Tennessee facility. His previous positions include engineer and designer for a local lumber company and structural engineer for Ross Bryan Associates, Inc.
Tindall Corp. Vice President and CFO Cheryl Lang was inducted into the East Tennessee State University Hall of Fame for the College of Business and Technology. ETSU presented her with the Horizon Award, honoring graduates whose careers display significant accomplishments in business.
Bonsal American Inc., has expanded the sales and product management team for its dry bagged cement mix brand, Sakrete. Bob Schmidt, appointed product manager, has been with Bonsal for 26-plus years, during which time he served as manager of Flo-Ash Services, director of Technical Services, and most recently, manufacturing manager. Wes Murphy has been named Midwest Territory sales manager, covering Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. For the past three years, Murphy served as territory sales manager for the Lowe's team as part of Oldcastle APG, Bonsal American's parent company.
Previously employed at Oldcastle 4-D, Inc., Shea Anstine has joined Bonsal American as a territory sales manager responsible for growing the Sakrete brand in Michigan and northwestern Ohio. Dean Greene has been named territory sales manager, responsible for driving Sakrete sales in Georgia, Southern Alabama and the Florida panhandle. Greene previously worked for Oldcastle Retail.
