Plant expansion positions Con-Tech to maintain solid growth curve

NS-ConTechI-150Con-Tech Manufacturing is set to close out 2014 with a 65,000 sq. ft. addition to its plant, housing new central parts department, paint lines, drum-mounting stations, shipping & receiving department, and offices. The construction will bring the total to 200,000 sq. ft. that the mixer truck manufacturer has under roof at its Dodge Center, Minn., headquarters.

Purdue researchers validate CO2-cured concrete performance

Addressing the American Concrete Institute Fall Convention in Washington, D.C., Purdue University engineers report that carbon dioxide-cured concrete performs comparably or better than traditional portland cement product for resistance to cold weather and exposure to extreme conditions.
